Nana Robala - Sotho Baby Faerie
A small, ethnic, flower-faerie is overcome with sleep. He nestles peacefully in
his indigo cocoon. Nothing disturbs his gentle tranquillity, not even the gathering
dew drops that are witness to the mild summer evening. All about him stillness rests
on velvet petals. No sound, save the passing flight of twilight wings, is heard.
Insects have stopped their business and retired in nightly respite.
Nana Robala slumbers on. He will awaken to smile at the dawn and with gurgles, greet
his faerie realm.
